As email has now become more important than regular mail and to some more important than the ability to make a phone call our office has seen a rise in the number of support calls regarding email and at the same time an increased number of options for hosting and retrieving email.
We have found that many people do not understand how email works, how to set it up on their computer or tablet, or cell phone and are not sure who to call when something does not seem to work!
Here is an alphabetical list of some of the more common terms and acronyms used in email systems and other technical items in the Information Technology industry.
Our current email system is in need of an upgrade and in planning for the upgrade we are faced with many options and not all of our users have the same needs.

If you already have email with us we will be contacting you directly to help you decide which option is best for you moving forward. These new systems will be going into effect January 1st 2013.
